About

First and foremost, welcome to my humble blog!

Please refer me as Frowns, because it describes my personality.

An introduction to myself, I am currently 30 years old and still actively learning.
So while working full time, I have endeavored through part time studies like many adults.
It was really tiring but am surely glad it was over.  My main focus now are on career and investments goals.

And a note to many students, it is really true that your life will totally change once you entered into the corporate world.

Still, studying and working is not the only way to go. If you are capable and determined, the fast lane of entrepreneurship is a path of exponential growth.

Being a millionaire is also my current aim. Remember the Force of Attraction from the book The Secret? It means nature will one day give you what you always believed in. Say you wished to be promoted, keep envisioning that everyday and you will find yourself working towards it naturally and ultimately reaching it one day.

As for investing, I am a Value/Growth investor who takes either sides that serves me well.

Long Term Target:
  • To be first-generation rich.
  • Read as many financial books as time allows.
  • Save 50% of monthly salary (excluding CPF); so it is 70% including CPF
  • To be ready to retire by the age of 45 (but may continue to work) with a minimum $4,500-$5,000 of passive income from 5% annual dividends. The higher the better
  • Reach a combined savings and investment value of $700,000 or more by the age of 45
  • Have a mixture of local and overseas stocks and bonds for retirement. May consider adding excess cash into CPF Special account.

Alternatively, you can write me an email here privately. Thank you.
